  • I am based in Castle Rock, CO, but I offer virtual sessions using HIPAA compliant software. I offer sessions for clients that live in Colorado and California.

  • It’s pretty simple! I use Zoom to hold our confidential sessions. You can use either a computer/laptop or phone, although a computer is preferable. You will want to make sure you have a private, confidential space you can have your sessions.

  • I am not currently offering in-person sessions, although it could be something I do in the future. Let me know if that’s something you would be interested in!

  • My fees are $160 per 60 minute session. I do not take insurance in Colorado, but I can provide a superbill for you that you can give to your insurance provider for partial reimbursement of sessions. You will need to go through your insurance provider to see if this is a benefit you have; not all insurance is the same!

In California, I am currently accepting UnitedHealthcare/UMR and Aetna. Your cost per session will be dependent on your healthcare provider. I use Headway and they can run insurance benefits for you. I do not currently provide superbills in CA if you are private-pay.

  • I know it can feel nerve-wracking, so I aim to make the first session feel comfortable and low-pressure. We’ll talk about your story, how things have been feeling lately, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. You don’t need to have it all figured out. We’ll go at your own pace.

Sessions are 60 minutes and held online. I typically recommend starting with weekly sessions to build momentum and a strong foundation for the work. Over time, we can adjust the frequency as needed, but I don’t offer sessions less than biweekly.

  • There isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer. The length of therapy depends on what you’re wanting and what we’re working through. My approach is more depth-oriented and relational, so many clients choose to stay longer-term to create lasting change rather than quick fixes. If you’re curious, this is part of what I mean by ‘The Slow Way Home.’ That said, we’ll check in along the way and make sure it continues to feel right for you.

  • Therapy doesn’t usually change everything all at once, but over time you may start to notice things feel different. You might relate to yourself with more compassion and less harsh self-criticism. Anxiety may still show up, but it doesn’t run the show in the same way. You may find yourself more curious about your reactions instead of judging them, and more able to rest without feeling guilty. Many clients also begin to question old roles and patterns they learned earlier in life, and start choosing what actually feels right for them now.

  • A Good Faith Estimate is a document that outlines the expected cost of your therapy over time, so there are no surprises. It’s required for clients who are paying out of pocket and helps you understand what to expect financially.

I will provide this to you before we start our sessions if you are private-pay.
